When you click on Directly connect to Exact, a personal workspace will be created for you. Within this workspace, you can connect one or more administrations and gain immediate access to all functionality during a three-week trial period. There are no strings attached: the trial period ends automatically and there are no obligations. We are also happy to give you a personal demo to see how monitoring, forecasting and collaboration best suit your practice.
By linking your own administration, you will immediately experience how real-time monitoring, auto-forecasting and shared insights together form a continuous navigation process — in which you not only look back, but actively plan, monitor, adjust and evaluate throughout the year. Even after the trial period, you can continue to use Portfolio Insights free of charge to monitor your portfolio. Many firms then start with two or three administrations and a fixed user group with Monitoring Active — for example, for budgets, decision-making or liquidity insight. This often forms a strong starting point for a well-designed, widely supported approach, after which reports are rolled out periodically and in your own house style to an ever-growing group of companies.
Note: One Exact Identity (OEI)
Since the introduction of One Exact Identity (OEI), authentication for Exact Online integrations works differently. For API integrations (such as Quest Forecast), a unique Exact user must exist in the administration.
If your organization uses OEI, the user authorizing the integration must have an alias email address linked to the OEI login, and this user must have access to the relevant Exact Online administration. If this is not configured correctly, the integration may fail to authorize.
